NC NEWS:

1. Thanks to all who came out to The Elevens on 4/5 for the "Northampton Rocks for Nico" benefit, bands and fans and all. All the money raised went directly to Katie and Nico to help pay medical bills. Thanks again all.

2. We're also doing a short set opening for The National Convention at The Brass Cat. Carpet's own J. Johnson lends vocals on a few National Convention tracks, along with many other Valley musicians. Also on that bill: Mark Schwaber, The Humming Field, and Haunt. Yowzza! We'll probably be one of the first bands of the evening so show up early and stick around for a night of sweet sounds.

3. We're playing a benefit show for Flywheel on 5/24 at The Elevens. Tons of bands are playing. Come out and make an evening of it. Everyone will be naked under their clothes.

4. The Lovefield Way tracking sessions in March went well. No more than three people were injured. Not bad for a trio. Many thanks to Levels for lending us the space to make noise while he was attending to some R&R business within the Americas. One night we tracked a jam and took some video, separately, and I mashed sound and video clips carelessly, oh so carelessly, here. We'll continue to track for the full-length album bit by bit, wherever there are a few hours and electricity. We've made a lot of headway. I think we can see the light that lights the light at the end of the tunnel. It feels good.
